American Heritage

American heritage is the longstanding history, traditions and ideologies that made the United States a free and prosperous nation since before its founding. Prior to the American War for Independence the 13 original colonies vested interest in building a thriving and virtuous society based on the ideals of the European Enlightenment and the principles of the Christian Bible. Since the 1607 Jamestown settlers of Virginia, followed by the Pilgrims of Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1620, this land was authored with Providence for a higher purpose. Despite our present-day struggles, the USA has become the freest and most affluent nation on Planet Earth through mistakes, trial and error, and experimentation.
